After doing the Parkinson 10k in Nottingham, on behalf of my Granddad and the happiness of my Nanna; in which I raised £190 i realised that I wanted to do more events for charities.
Subsequently, I have registered for the British 10k in london and the Great south run in Portsmouth.
The first charity i am running for is FSID: A charity helping families with the effects of cot death. I chose this charity as I have a little girl now and the worry of cot death was always on my mind.
The second charity I am running for is Mind: an organisation that counsels people through hard times. I chose this charity as a friend of the family received help from them.
